Ronald Dean Mituniewicz

Ronald Mituniewicz was born to Jack Anthony and Eleanora Virginia Young Mituniewicz on February 16, 1954 in Portland, Oregon. As a child he grew up in Carver, Oregon and graduated from Clackamas High School in 1972. There he met his wife Jan Welborn, who preceded his death in October 2013. They were married on May 21, 1077 at St. Phllip Benizi Church in Redland, Oregon.
After High School he worked at Arbuckle Cabinet Shop in Milwaukie, John Carr Cabinet Shop in Oregon City, drove a concrete truck for Jansik Concrete out of Carver and for Wilsonville Concrete out of Wilsonville. He Then started his own Excavation Business, N2 Excavation, which he successfully ran until his passing. He started in his journey of retirement in February of 2020.
In Grade School he was the prince in the Jr. Rose Festival Parade. Ron and Jan ran a Hawaiian Shave Ice wagon at various fairs and events throughout the Portland Metro area. Ron was a member of the Milwaukie Portland Elks, Volunteer with the Oregon Volunteer Dune Patrol, and had a strong belief in the importance of the Trade Schools.
Ron passed away in the early morning hours on November 10, 2020 in Milwaukie, Oregon with his significant other and caregiver Alaina Lewis, by is side. Ron is survived by his brothers, James Thomas Mituniewicz (Laura), Robert Allan Mituniewicz, Foster brother, Clifford Pas (Lisa), Aunts, Alice Mituniewicz Shelly (Joe), Rose Mituniewicz Miller (Skip), Dorothy Mituniewicz, Virginia Mtuniewicz Mathews (Richard), Cousins; Sue Miller Mulligan (Patrick), Mike Miller (Stefani), Kathleen Shelly Fonaas (Kim), Joseph Shelly (Noemi), Mary Mathews Stevens (Mark), Molly Mathews Bjorklund (Rogers),Nephews; John Mituniewicz, Geoff Schumacher (Nicole), Jon Schumacher (Courtney), Jim Schumacher (Stephanie) Stevens Welborn, Michael Welborn, Nieces: Karen Mituniewicz Mattingley (Grant), April Mituniewicz (Jesse).

Funeral Services will be at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery, 11666 SE Stevens, Road, Happy Valley, OR 97086. November 23, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. Attendance is limited to 50 people. After the service, the gates will be opened to those who want to pay their respects at the Crypt.
