Paul Robert Bernunzio

Paulr R. Bernunzio passed away September 7, 2025 in his SE Portland home. He had been battling a long-term illness. Paul earned a BA degree while attending Mt. Angel Seminary. During his college years, Paul become proficient in the use of American Sign Language (ASL) and worked with the deaf community as an interpreter in Mt Angel and in SE Portland. Paul also had a 25-year career as an instructor of the Chinese martial art, Tai Chi, at Portland Community College. Paul survives by his four siblings: Ann Unger; John Bernunzio; Catherine Thiele; and Michael Bernunzio; as well as nieces and nephews.
