Mary Pletka passed away peacefully on Sunday after a recent diagnosis of cancer. She was born Mary McDonald in Bisbee, Arizona. Later her family moved to Los Angeles and eventually to Portland.
She was a homemaker and hospice worker. She enjoyed volunteering for Cherry Blossom Meals on Wheels and the St. Vincent de Paul Societies at Ascension and St. Henry Catholic parishes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob and son Joe.
She is survived by daughters Jeanette Bard, Mary Martinson and Carole Pletka; and sons Bob and Steve and three grandsons.
