Lloyd William Weisensee

Lloyd William Weisensee was born in Portland, Oregon to Lloyd Robert Weisensee and Mary Isabelle Weisensee (nee Brown). 

Lloyd attended St John the Baptist Grade School in Milwaukie, Oregon, Central Catholic in Portland, Oregon and St Martin’s Prep in Lacey, Washington.  He attended University of Portland and graduated from University of Oregon Law School and AFROTC in 1957.  After graduation, Lloyd was stationed at Lackland AFB, San Antonio and Lowry AFB, Denver. 

He joined Gray and Lister Law Firm in 1961, practicing Maritime Law and Business Litigation until joining the Oregon State Bar Professional Liability Fund administering malpractice cases. He was a life long member of the Oregon State Bar, the Portland City Club, the Mazamas and was a passionate cyclist and triathlete

Lloyd was preceded in death by his son Lloyd Robert (1961) and daughter Marjorie Ann (1981).  He is surivived by his wife of 67 years Eileen, and children Emily Weisensee (Uwe Maurer), John Weisensee (Jill Weisensee), Andrea Lamanna (Rocky Lamanna), Sara Sauter (David Sauter) and grandsons Benjamin and Noah Sauter and Samuel and Gabriel Weisensee.

A service will be held at St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Portland, Oregon at 11:00am on Thursday, June 15th, 2023.  A private family interment will take place at a later date at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
