Kenneth Matthies

Loving husband, father, brother, Marine, friend, and parishioner, Kenneth E Matthies completed his final mission in life on December 5th, 2018. He passed peacefully with his family by his side.
Ken was a man of great faith. He believed in family, community and God.
In his 81 years Ken saw the world and shared his love of travels with all he met.
In the words of a great friend... Ken ' s last trip to God is a trip he must take alone.

Ken is survived by his wife, Margaret, daughters, Georgia (Kazy) and Tanya (Tim), 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, brother, Dave and sister, Cookie.
Celebration of his life will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church Lake Oswego, OR on Fri. Jan. 18th at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
