John Robert Virnig

John Robert Virnig was born in Portland, Oregon on August 11, 1958 to Leroy and Leis Virnig. He passed away surrounded by his family on April 6, 2018.
John was the third of seven children. Throughout his life, he worked in construction with his brother Steve, building houses throughout Oregon. John was an avid reader and had interests in history, golf, photography and gardening. He enjoyed watching hockey, jeopardy and completing daily crossword puzzles with his mother. He also liked to spend time with his friends at the local pub.
John is survived by his six siblings Steve, Tony, Gayle, Scott, Barbara and Leisy; nineteen nieces and nephews and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at St. Anne's Catholic Church.
