Ignacio M. Escudero

The Lord has called home Ignacio Maria Escudero, who passed away peacefully on Sept. 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife, Iris.

Born on Jan. 8, 1944 in Manila, Philippines, Ignacio lived with his father and mother in both Argentina and Spain while his father served as an Ambassador. After moving to the US, Ignacio graduated from a California University and got his Masters Degree in Business Administration. He moved to Portland, Oregon, where he devoted his life to Judicial Interpreting, Medical & Legal work for over 30 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Iris Harris, who took care of him in his last and most challenging years, and by his beloved stepson, Cory Escudero.

A private viewing, rosary service, and funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, followed by a graveside committal service at Mt Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Portland, OR.
