Gregory John Roberti

Greg was the eldest of three sons born to Philip Carl Roberti and Venicia Dorothy Roberti (née Apa). He was raised in Portland's Woodstock neighborhood, surrounded by his large extended Italian family; it was through them where he first developed his strong sense of family and loyalty. After graduating from Adams High School, Greg pursued his natural talent for mechanics and construction. He began his career as an auto mechanic before moving into commercial plumbing, finding fulfillment in both trades through his love of hands-on work. His sharp mind, determination, and discipline enabled him to succeed at everything he pursued.

Greg married Cynthia Rawson in 1976, and together raised four children. He was fully engaged in his community: coaching youth baseball/softball, enjoying rounds of golf with his friends, playing guitar and living out his devout Catholic faith. One of his quiet traditions was leaving prayer cards for fellow parishioners at church. He also deeply loved animals; having a menagerie of dogs, cats, fish and birds over the years. Above all, Greg cherished his family; showing them fierce loyalty and protectiveness throughout his life.

Greg is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his children, Philip, Gregory, Angela, and Christina (Bill); his grandchildren, Marcelina (Logan) and Venicia; his brothers, Stephen (Karen) and Jeffery; and his two beloved dogs, Sadie and Tucker.
