Diane Frances Marcoe
October 29, 1946 — January 1, 2021
Diane Marcoe, 74, went home to Jesus on January 1, 2021. Her devotion to her family and her strong faith in God supported her and gave her peace. Diane was born to the late Raymond and Cecelia Rothenflutch, October 29, 1946, in Silverton, Oregon. After graduating from Silverton High School in 1964, she graduated as a Registered Nurse from Sacred Heart General Hospital School of Nursing in Eugene Oregon in 1967.
After graduation, she worked as a nurse at a few hospitals for two and a half years before landing at Bess Kaiser Hospital for 36 years. She was an evening supervisor for 6 years, a night supervisor for 20 years and an Emergi-Center manager for 10 years. She was passionate about nursing and loved what she did for a living.
Diane was an exceptionally dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all six of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and that was above all else to Diane, a value she instilled in all of those around her. From the very beginning, she dedicated her children to God and encouraged them to live a life of faith. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
Diane loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching their games, going to their school events and making memories with them. She was an amazingly selfless person and dedicated her life to taking care of others and volunteering in her church and any activities her children participated in.
Those who will miss Diane most include her six children Jeff (Dorothy), Jackie, Scott, Heidi (Justin) Knight, Troy (Jen) and Jenny; her seven grandchildren McKenna, Rachel, Bailey, Nicholas, Nathan, Andrew and Kaylee; and her four sisters Mary Jean (Lee), Eileen (Dave), Charlene, and Joan (George); and sister in-law Judy (Wes).
