Debra Rae Rask

Debra “Debbie” Rask (née Ashpole) passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in Portland, Oregon. She was 66 years old. Born on July 20, 1958 in Glasgow, Montana, she was the second oldest of four children. Debbie lived in Butte, Montana for much of her childhood and early adulthood where she met and married Bernie Rask. Together, they moved to Portland, Oregon in 1985, where she resided for the remainder of her life.

She was a loving person and is remembered by family and friends as being caring, supportive, patient, and resilient. Debbie treasured the fond memories and friendships she made and adored spending time with her family and pets. She found joy in painting, knitting and decorating her home with beautiful, handmade art. She also had a knack for finding the perfect, loving gift to celebrate seasons, birthdays and other special occasions.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Bernie; daughter, Ashley; son, Ben; brother, Danny; sister, Diana; and mother, Doreene.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Gary, and brother, David.

May Debbie’s memory be a blessing, and may we honor her by carrying forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
