Alicia Valenzuela

October 1, 1995 — March 22, 2025

MIlwaukie

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Alicia Valenzuela on Saturday March 22, 2025 from an auto accident, at the age of 29. Her beloved German Shepherd Tuko was with her and also passed on.

Alica was born on October 1, 1995 in Nampa Idaho. She adopted Tuko December 30, 2017.

Alicia had moved to Oregon in 2012 at age 16. She graduated from David Douglas High School and attended Portland Community College. She chose Healthcare for her career path and was working at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center.

Alicia loved music, dancing, the outdoors, hiking, jogging, road trips, and her baby Tuko. The two were inseparable and she would bring him everywhere she could. She enjoyed her time with family and friends and had a unique relationship with each individual.

Alicia was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was very much loved.

Alicia is survived by her mother Maria Gonzalez, and her only brother Raudel E. Valenzuela, whom she was very close to and loved so much along with his children, her niece Ariella and nephew Angelo. She also leaves behind her grandparents Cuca and Misael Valenzuela, who she adored dearly, grandmother Elena Gonzalez, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She loved and was close to her entire extended family. Every single sibling was special to her.

Alicia’s passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. God chose to bring her home along with her baby Tuko.

Although Alicia’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to uplift us. May her memory be a blessing and her light will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Remember her beautiful smile and her laugh.

The Valenzuela/Gonzalez family wishes to thank all those who helped us in this time. Your support has meant the world to us all. We will have a funeral mass at Ascension Catholic Church in Portland, Or. Thursday April 24,2025, 12:00 pm, followed by interment at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery in Happy Valley, Or. at 2:30 pm. Friends and family are invited to honor Alicia’s life.

Alicia, we will never forget you and we will always love you. You continue to be the shining light in our lives. We look forward to being reunited with you one day. May God bless you and Tuko. Rest in peace.
