Bishop Peter Smith is Vicar General, Moderator of the Curia and Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Portland. He is involved in long term cemetery planning and communication of directives established by the Archbishop which are aimed at fulfilling both the financial and spiritual obligations of Mt. Calvary & Gethsemani Catholic Funeral Services.
Tim Corbett, MBA

Tim is responsible for the general management of Mt. Calvary & Gethsemani Catholic Funeral Services. His duties include assessing the needs of our facilities, developing strategies to fulfill those needs and executing the plans that continue to move both the Catholic cemeteries and the new funeral home in a positive direction. Tim's efforts are aimed at ensuring that our services are a true statement of faith.

Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota, and has amassed 35 years of experience as a funeral director, embalmer, and cemetery counselor in several states. His Catholic faith guides his management of Gethsemani Funeral Home.

Angela assists Mt. Calvary & Gethsemani Catholic Funeral Services as our most experienced Cemetery Counselor. She received her Bachelor of Science in Funeral Service at the University of Central Oklahoma and has served as a funeral director and embalmer in both the Midwest and here in Portland. Angela's experience and knowledge makes her an incredible resource for any family.

Eric is both a Cemetery Counselor at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery and a Funeral Director for Gethsemani Funeral Home. Eric has an Associate’s Degree in Funeral Service from Mt. Hood Community College and has worked in a number of funeral homes in the Portland area for over 20 years. He is licensed as a Funeral Director/Embalmer in both Oregon and Washington.
& Cemetery Counselor
Trish was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and attended both St. Thomas More Catholic School and Jesuit High School. In 2017, she graduated top of her Funeral Service Education program at Mt. Hood Community College. Helping those in need has always been a calling for Trish; she is incredibly grateful to be a Funeral Director/Embalmer and Cemetery Counselor at Gethsemani where she can help families when they need it most.
Deacon David Hammes
In November 2005 he was ordained a permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon. From 2005-2007, Deacon David was part of the support team for Rachel’s Vineyard, a Catholic organization that helps women and men suffering from post-abortion trauma. He served as permanent deacon at St. Cecilia’s parish for nine years and is currently assigned to St. Anthony’s parish in Tigard, Oregon. In March 2020, Deacon David was assigned to Mt. Calvary & Gethsemani Catholic Funeral Services to preside over funeral liturgies. He presides over Catholic “Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass” which can be held in the Chapel at Gethsemani, and presides at graveside services with the “Catholic Rite of Committal with Final Commendation” services. Deacon David has also presided over Catholic graveside services at Willamette National Cemetery.
Pat is responsible for the grounds day-to-day operations of both Mt. Calvary & Gethsemani Catholic Cemeteries. We strive to maintain our cemeteries as some of the best kept in the entire state, with over 130 acres to care for and 500 annual interments, Pat’s efforts are essential in helping us meet that goal.
Outreach & Special Projects Coordinator
Priscilla assists Catholic Funeral Services by conducting educational funeral planning presentations within the Archdiocese of Portland; developing educational materials and website content management; and with special projects at both locations. Priscilla received both her Bachelor of Arts in Media Advertising and her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has a long history of working with the faithful of this Archdiocese and is fluent in Spanish.
